does charcoal kill bacteria in a water filtration system? and how would i use it in one?
science project….need to filter bad water and make it clean enough to drink? so what do i use?

Charcoal is an absorbent. It will clean water from bleach, arsenic, chemicals etc…doesn’t kill bacteria.
Germicidal tablets are what you need. Always follow directions. Can be purchased at WalMart in the camping department. Takes 30 mins to purify water with the tablets.
