I just completed the installation and everything seems to be working fine. I found I needed to use a wrench to snug up the diverter to the faucet as water was leaking around it when only hand tight.
These filters are great for a bathroom sink (washing your face, shaving, brushing teeth) but are comparatively USELESS for drinking.
The only way to remove the junk from drinking water is reverse osmosis.
Eh those are pretty expensive. How much more effective are they then this? I don’t know how useful for shaving they are because you are not suppose to use hotwater.

As for the aquasana type filters…. they should be able to withstand hot/warm water…..
For drinking water, reverse osmosis is the only option
